Diagnostic clarity comes first
In many cases, treatment fails not because the therapist lacks skill or the client lacks commitment, but because the diagnostic picture was never clear enough to connect the person to the right evidence-based treatment. Anxiety and distress can look like many things, and too often they get funneled into a few broad categories. When vital parts of a diagnosis are missed, treatment ends up chasing targets that never reach the underlying issue.
Our evaluations are designed to identify those underlying diagnoses. Not just that you have anxiety, but which anxiety, because the specific form often points to a different treatment direction than the one you have been pursuing. Many clients find the picture is more complicated than they first realized, and more treatable once it is clear.
Neurodivergence is a core part of that picture. ADHD, autism, and other forms of neurodivergence can generate anxiety and emotion regulation vulnerabilities of their own, and when they go unidentified, treatment misses some of its most important targets. Every evaluation ends with a detailed written report and a feedback session where we walk through the findings and the specific treatment directions they point to, so you and your providers know exactly where to aim next.
And because we focus on evaluation rather than ongoing treatment, our recommendations come with real referrals, not just a report and a search bar. We maintain professional connections across the community, and we point you to established providers matched to what your results call for. That focus also keeps our recommendations independent: we are not evaluating you in order to fill our own treatment calendar.
